Hanieh Choopani is a Ph.D. Candidate in Sustainable Fashion Education (funded by the DAAD) at the University of Education Freiburg and the Hochschule Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSH). Her doctoral research focuses on the development of courses for sustainable fashion design education and the compilation of recommendations for the implementation of ESD in fashion and apparel design higher education. She is also a part-time lecturer at the USE-LESS Center at HSH, where she teaches courses focusing on design activism, sustainable design strategies and sustainable fashion.
