Irene Maldini, Ph.D., conducts critical research on the environmental impact of growing consumption and production volumes of clothing and other consumer goods. She specializes on the solutions that have been proposed to reduce these volumes at company and public policy levels and in assessing their effect. Having worked as a product designer and an academic in Uruguay, Brazil and the Netherlands, Irene lives now in Portugal and works for Oslo Metropolitan University.
