Dr. Katia Dayan (Vladimirova) is a senior researcher at the University of Geneva working on the nexus of fashion consumption and sustainability. Having completed a double PhD in political theory and political science in 2014, Katia is currently researching the different changing fashion consumption patterns and especially trends towards minimalism and sufficiency. She is active as a consultant advising on fashion sustainability transition to the fashion industry, governments and municipal authorities, and international organizations, with a proven track record in project implementation. Katia developed the concept of Let'z Refashion Center in Luxembourg, which is part of ReThink Your Clothes Campaign by CARITAS Luxembourg.
