Dr. Gurova’s research interests are consumption studies, fashion studies, entrepreneurship, qualitative methods of social research and social network analysis. Her projects concern fashion policy, sustainable fashion business models and sustainable consumption in Russia and in Finland. She currently works on a project on wearable technology and sustainability from both production and consumption perspectives. From August 2021 she’ll start working on a project related to nudging consumers towards sustainable behavior change in the fields of fashion, food and mobility. Take it Slow!
